I can't help but wonder what sorts of kinky things were going on with those two. We all know Heather isn't shy! But Paul seems to be worried about his squeaky clean Sir Paul image.

Maybe he BBQ'd meat?

I read that Paul has had a heart attack . . .
PerfumeMe
Where did you read that? It would be front page news in the British press, but I had a quick look and saw nothing.

I don't think there is much she could do to really tarnish his image. He's Paul McCartney, former BEATLE, fer cryin' out loud and who is she? Just a bitter money-grubbing soon-to-be ex-wife with a shady past of her own that she's trying to deflect attention away from. Or that's how most people will see her.

IMHO, the cute Beatle deserves better than Heather.

Maybe he uses viagra.

My advice to Sir Paul when that next gold digging bimbo comes along...PRENUP! It doesn't matter if it's "unromantic", it's wise!!!! I like Paul McCartney, although my favorite was always Ringo, but he's like all the other old rockers from the 60s and 70s who's still trying to prove he's got "it" by dating, marrying, and then impregnating these beautiful women half their age. Yet, it never works out for the old rockers because the young wives end up with their money. How stupid are these men??? I have a hard time feeling sorry for Paul because he should have better sense than to go into a marriage without a prenup. I bet his kids are really ticked off at him as they're seeing their inheritance dwindle. If he marries again...and again...the kids might actually have to go out and get real jobs rather than becoming designers on daddy's name.

Paul loved his Linda and Linda loved her Paul. Heather looked a little like Linda when she was young so Paul married Heather 2 years after he lost his Linda. But Heather's background was one of prostitution and a life of scraping street smarts. I remember a quote. She said she'd "never even heard of the Beatles" before she met Paul cause she had "always listened to classical music". I whooped real loud when I heard that one.
Heather played him like a harp and undoubtedly encouraged numerous "compromising positions" during the course of the marriage. She did it because those street smarts were always working toward the larger picture. Paul was motivated by love and trust (Linda taught him). This was like a marriage between a lobster and a horse. Never gonna work.

Paul could control Linda. Nobody controls Heather. At least she will do something worthwhile with the money, unlike most ex-wives. Paul would just hoard it. He's a notorious cheapskate. He needs to marry someone HIS OWN AGE.

Even if Heather gets a big settlement, there will be plenty of money for his kids when he kicks the bucket.

You know what, Autumn...you're absolutely right. Stupid move, no prenup.

And yeah, maybe he'd have better luck with a woman in his own age group. The cute Beatle is 64, time to quit chasing young chicks.

It's the same as I always say about that fool Ron Perelman who keeps marrying, having kids, and giving away more of his fortune....Any man with a brain would have had a vasectomy decades ago, and stopped making his unions legal to boot (talk to Liz Taylor, guys -- she FINALLY got a clue!).

Whats Paul got to hide? Who knows ?

At worst , he is a rock star , so it could be a whopper . However , it seems Mecca with Linda seemed to live a normalish life sans scandal (well except for dope issues) AND being a famous Brit I am sure he knows how much fun dealing with Fleet Steet is. So I am going to go against the grain here and give Sir Paul some slack and say maybe just maybe the poor old sod just wants a BS free divorce and just a bit of privacy.

Okay, I haven't been following this story closely. What has Heather done to deserve all the name calling because I haven't heard anything from either side; just gossip and speculation in the rags.

What has Paul got to hide? I don't see where Paul McCartney owes me an explanation for anything he has done in the past. I saw the couple on TV in Canada when they were on a show about the seal hunt along with The Honourable Danny Williams, Premier of Newfoundland. Paul McCartney was at least polite whilst expressing his views against the hunt. Heather screamed shrilly at Danny Williams (who maintained his cool and provided information with dignity and panache), called him a liar and generally acted the shrew. You could see Paul was uncomfortable with her demeanour and that they were not on the same page. That was very shortly before the announcement of their breakup was made. So when McCartney says he's quits because of her behaviour, I can believe what he says because I got a sample of it with my own eyes.
PerfumeMe
According to Heather's friends, part of her frustration was with journalists who seemed only interested in her as a Beatle wife and not as a person in her own right, with her mission to help landmine victims, which has been very important to her for many years.

Paul seems quite happy to always be the center of attention and is used to the little wife catering to his every wish. He's a Northern Man, after all. I don't condone bad behavior, however. "You catch more flies with honey than vinegar." I think "flies" adequately describes the press.

Don't no one diss my Paul. He was my big crush when I was a girl in fact I carried his picture around in my wallet for eons. Heather on the other hand comes across as a control freak who was in it for the money. I hope Paul gets to hold on to his fortune, a fortune he worked damn hard for. With all the speculation of Heather's sordid past I seriously don't think she will have a leg to stand on.
