Full Version: Just Discovered : New Artisan Parfumeur Fragrance Dzongkha
Perfume of Life > A Civilized Perfume Affair > Talk About Perfume
Grenelle
I've not been posting here for quite a long time but I thought I have to share this with you :

This afternoon while busy downtown Paris I passed by the Artisan Parfumeur on rue de l'Amiral Coligny. The very nice sales person there introduced me to the next fragrance to be launched soon : Dzongkha.
I have simply been stunned by this new masterpiece. Dzongkha was named after the official language of Bhoutan, a small country that borders China and India. The fragrance has been created by the same nose that did Timbouktu. It's a beautiful and very subtle and almost creamy litchee-rose accord layed on a soft oriental base, not unlike Bois Farine.

Dzongkha is due to be launched officially on September 15 here in France.

Thank you for your impression. Good to know it's trully nice.

I am looking forward to it, actually. My appetite has been whetted by the things I found about it:

Your post was very interesting and I am fighting being green with envy. Paris in the afternoon and a new fragrance while here I am with my hands just out of dish water and an evening alone...well, that part's not bad. Peace can be good, too.

Merci for the review, Grenelle! I am a great fan of L'Artisan and am quite intrigued by the descriptions of Dzongkha, especially the comparisons to Bois Farine, which I adore. I can't wait to sniff it!

Thanks for all your interest ! and I forgot to say : it's really long-lasting. I can still smell it on the clothes I wore yesterday.
