Has anyone tried any of the Rich Hippie line-what are your thoughts? I want to try Wild Thing and will probably love it unfortunately. Quite the heft price tag.
Love Eau de Soir -really curious as to how Soir de Lune will measure up.It will be beautiful I'm sure. Has anyone sniffed?

I've tries Soir de Lune today- and immediatly received compliments.
It starts out quite sharply- think a lighter Eau du Soir ( ans sweeter) but the drydown is not very chypre, it is sweet.Sorry, have sprayed on a odd place on my arm and can't tell you more.do want to sample it more properly.
It is a sophisticated smelling fragance and smells like an expensive quality fragrance-
so it does stand out from other new launches like ange ou demon, Kenzo...which are nice enough , but lack that 'real perfume -appeal', imo.

Tried Soir de Lune and it didn't smell too great on me. It did smell better on the SA's hand (a guy again) - so I assume it would be great on a man.
Unfortunately I can't really recall the scent enough to describe it... There was a note that put me off and I can't really explain what it was. It was too busy of a day olfactory wise, and I was mainly trying to wash this one off (it was sprayed on my wrist because I didn't want to be rude to the SA who was so enthusiastic about it). I really wanted to focus on the Caron scents I was trying that day ;)

I love Soir de Lune as an environmental fragrance - they give out fabric petals sprayed with the scent - and I love to catch whiffs of it when I walk by a petal. But the scent doesn't do anything for me on skin. I love chypres, but this one I'll have to pass on. Yes, it is a sophisticated scent, but there is something too old-fashioned about it for me.
Three of us were sniffing a petal here at work (one of us had just come from NM), all three of us different ages, and we all thought it smelled like something a grandmother would wear. Not bad, just not something any of us would wear. Maybe some would call that a challenging chypre.
This is one I respect, but don't love.

I love chypres in general for their earthiness; I have a miniature of Soir de Lune (got it when I recently purchased Eau du Soir), and to me it is more floral than chypre. It is nice, but lacks the depth of Eau du Soir or Paloma et al (imo).

I did not like Soir de Lune, a was surprised what a harsh rose it was.

After having tested it, I must say that Soir de Lune starts very masculine on my skin, the first 15 minutes were hard to take...
The drydown is much more feminine, due to the flowers.
I must say, I was a bit disappointed. IŽll give it an second chance, but I donŽt think IŽll like it more.
But to say something positive: Staying power is amazing, it lasted very long (8 hours at least) & you only need very little.

Soie de Lune by Sisley I think is a beautiful fragrance. I loved the heavily rose top note to it and I think it compliments Eau de Soir very well in their line. I agree it's a more lighter version of EdS. I'd wear this one here if I got a bottle. Not ready to buy it cause it's not something I want to buy yet at this point in time. But I do like it. I think it's a very well crafted new scent, better than all these new releases from Guerlain, Anna Sui, Givenchy, etc...... This one is much better than those other sweet gourmandy confections.
