Full Version: Anna Wintour
Perfume of Life > A Civilized Perfume Affair > Talk About The Arts
Jeffery
This morning (Monday) NBC started a segment for fall I guess called "FASHION EXTRAVAGANZA."

The person they chose to interview and give fashion "advice," was Anna Wintour!

hahaha!!

I damn near spit up my Cheerios when I heard that.

My question regarding all of this is, did anyone catch this interview? They always say you can tell the honesty and sincerity of a person speaking to you by how much eye contact they make.

Anna's eyes were wandering all over the place, more often than not looking up, and then looking down or at an angle. Hardly ever directly at the person.

I don't know what this women has that allowed her to climb to the top, but she certainly doesn't have people skills!

We've talked about her being "odd" in the past on here, but goodness, I never REALLY thought she'd be THAT bad in front of the camera given her high profile position.

It was quite surprising for a woman who supposedly so influential.

Maybe she was waiting to be asked about The Devil Wears Prada.

Click to view attachmentThis woman may know how to sell magazines, but her appearance, personality, and 'take' on clothes, are a disaster. Just my humble opinion, of course. I have never seen a photo of Ms. Wintour, in which she could pass for soignee, well dressed, or pretty.

THIS, is what I like, Tommaso . . . but I can always count on my dapper and debonair POL poster, to help me see things from 'another' perspective. What I remember most about Ms. Wintour, and with deep contempt, is that during thirteen minute standing ovations for collections that produced gowns like these . . . Ms. Wintour sat motionless, staring idly behind those despicable sunshades . . . why should SHE, stand for Yves Saint Laurent?

I bet her behaviour can be traced back to "the 48 laws of power!"

And what, pray tell, are the 48 laws of power? And can you still get a cab if you've only mastered 47 of them?

The "law" helps me to understand the thinking of certain types of people. Miss Wintour being one of them.

.....and you won't be bothered with taking a cab if you are living by the "laws"
