Diane Keaton.
Have you seen poor Faye Dunaway's cheek implants that make her look like Howdie Doody's sister? Oh, man.
I am really coming to appreciate an actual human face with folds and the imprint of experience.
It's nice to see Martha Stewart's lovely jowls developing - and know that she has resisted making a mask of her face.

Susan Sarandon, Goldie Hawn. Hard to believe they are 60 as they don't look or act it.

I AM NOT BASHING CELEBRITIES...but c'mon...most of the ones listed have had 'something done' to 'age well'.
My mother is aging well. Seventy five...and doesn't look a day over sixty five. Beautiful woman with wrinkles and some sags, but an over-all healthy, robust little physique...and she could probably run circles around anyone on this board.
She works ten hour days, cleaning classrooms and such, in a private school....and of course because of her good work ethic and her Germanic tenacity and propensity for being a 'work-horse', she's the one always getting stuck doing the most and the worst.
I admire her...and her comtemporaries like her, whom I know...far more than any celebrity who has access and the means to...WHATEVER....

You know what I've found . . . people with facial flaws, seem to age better than those who are classic beauties. Not always, of course . . . but I'm remembering Barbara Stanwyck, on the Big Valley television series. She looked absoutely stunning. Much, much pretter I thought, than when she was young. Miss S. had a face lift, shortly before she died. From then on, I didn't like how she looked.
Some others, too . . . Lady Bird Johnson. She wasn't a beauty, but quite elegant, in her way. She did not have her nose done . . . so far as I know, she hasn't had a lift. Last time I saw her, she was in her eighties. Had gray hair . . . she looked beautiful
I think Queen Elizabeth looks very pretty, too.

After all these years, Goldie Hawn is still so cute! I just would love to see her try a new hair style. She has had the same one for so long, and now that she is aging, her hair kind of drags her face down a bit. A few inches off the ends, with her bangs a titch shorter (and not hanging down in her eyes) could really do the trick...
I think she could still look cute in short hair, too.Click to view attachment

Ellen Barkin says hair should not be below the collar bone after 45 and women should cover their knees. I agree.
Diane Sawyer is my older woman role model.

Click to view attachmentNubka, in "The First Wives Club" her character refers to that hairstyle as "neck bangs". Which cracks me up. Methinks this hairdo is covering up the ol' wrinkled neck in real life as well.

Me, too! I saw a movie last night that had Sharon Stone and Jessica Lange in it. I thought Sharon Stone looked great but Jessica Lange was hardly recognizable. She didn't look bad, I guess, but there appeared to be a lot of work done.
