Velvet Sky's Cinnabar thread made me think of Spellbound. It was on my list of scents that I want to revisit for the cooler weather coming. I love the cloveyness of it. It's another one to wear in moderation but I recall a friend I used to work with who wore it and she always smelled so good in it.
Does anyone know of a place to get decants of some of these non-niche perfumes? I know my Cinnabar will probably last forever as I got the full bottle and the lotion. Just a dab of Spellbound would satisfy my curiosity.
Any Spellbound fans out thre? (echoing) :)

Cinnabar is fruity and spicy. I smell rich, tart, candied fruits and copious amounts of CLOVE. I even smell an original-scent Chapstick note in there. Carnation is the main floral note. Spellbound's closest sibling would be Jil Sander No. 4.

I love Spellbound. It's one that always gets me some conpliments. It is such a beautiful fragrance that should be worn in moderation. A little goes a long way. I love to wear it especially in autumn.

i tried spellbound only once -- and i nearly passed out (no joke. chanel bois des iles did the same to me).
maybe i should try both again in *tiny* dabs (i had sprayed them before. not something i'm fond of anyway.) but i liked the *smell* of both, jut the effect was -- ah -- overpowering, literally.

I like it :) I have a miniature of it and I think il will last for long (such as Safari and Angel which I like very much but wear not too often and in small amounts).

yes, I love Spellbound too :) Do you also detect rose & honey in it? Spellbound is an unusual classy scent, great for autumn & winter. But I wore it the other day during warm weather, and the spicyness developped great on my skin.

I remember when I owned this one, I really wore it a lot for a while. Then, I think it got too strong for me, or I had worn it too much, so I gave it away when my bottle was probably 2/3 full still. I often think of buying it again, but I wonder if another one that I am pining for, Penhaligon's Cornubia, is too similar. I loved Cornubia at the Penhaligon's store, it struck me as similar.
