One of my dear sisters has just sent me a birthday gift - a set of
EDT, Body Lotion and Shower gel called Presence d'une femme
by Mont Blanc. I knew they made great pens, but now I realise they
also make great fragrances.
It was love at first sniff. She very cleverly remembered that I had gone
slightly ga ga over her partner's JPG's Le Male at a recent wedding, so she
tried to track down a feminine version of that kind of scent. What a find - it's
completely gorgeous, soft, creamy (in a classy Shalimar kind of way)
and very subtly sensuous.The sweet, fruity opening is not at all cloying,
just mood enhancing.

Notes are:-

Pineapple leaves
Pepper
Sweet tangerine
Cyclamen
Orchid
Vanilla Flower
Patchouli
Palisanderwood(whatever that is!)
Sandalwood

Highly recommended - go sniff......
Do any of you know this? They also do one called Femme Individuelle.

I love Presence- it is a beautiful fragrance. I am waiting and watching for their new one coming out- Femme de Montblanc- it too sounds like it will be so gorgeous.

Yes, this one is PURE PINEAPPLES! I live in the tropics and when there is a pineapple ripening on my windowsill I remember Presence d'un Femme (which I have). It is very fruity, not much sillage. I've seen it at Marshall's when swooping down to find the bargains when I am in the USA.[/font][siz

Femme Individuelle is a dud. Yours sounds lovely though.

Please elaborate Victoria!! Why is it a dud, in your opinion?

I have to agree with Victoria on Mont Blanc's Femme Idividulle. My brother in law brought it back from Hong Kong for me and I was excited until I opened the beautiful bottle, what a let down. Very blah ordinary scent, thank goddness it was a small bottle. I do love their pens though and someday would love to have one.
