I just ordered myself a little Christmas prezzie, Shiseido Relaxing fragrance. Unsniffed!
Have you ordered any Christmas, Chanukkah or other holiday gifts for yourself???

I decided I needed to pamper myself, so I got Vanille Noire du Mexique body lotion and Cote Bastide Fleur d'Oranger body cream. They came today. I'm glad I got them; I hate the cold dry air of winter here.

Hi, flowerlady, hope you love the Relaxing Fragrance. I got a perfume pendant of Ayalitta.
FYI there is a thread on this subject over in the life forum also, and it contains both perfume and non-perfume self-presents:
http://perfumeoflife.org/index.php?showtopic=13256
I also remember since I posted over there that I treated myself to a sweater set with sweater and vest as well. (And I'm probably not done yet!)

I got myself Brit and Bluebell earlier in December.
Those were my Christmas gifts for myself, so to say. I am very happy with them.

I was in Tuesday Morning yesterday and totally caved for the Crabtree and Evelyn sets which were on sale.
The Freesia, and the Lilac, were just so VERY pleasant and nice smelling. I spritzed one on each wrist and almost immediately got a compliment in Macys from a lady at the men's check-out.
Ever since I found Pur Desir De Gardenia by Yves Rocher I've been craving solofleur scents.

I just pulled the trigger on a bottle of Antaeus. Should turn up in a week or so, after the recrimination sets in.

I bought myself lots of Christmas fragrances. Bulgari Au Thé Rouge, Theorema Esprit d'Ete, Chopard Mira Bai, and KL by Lagerfeld arrived yesterday. I hope that my Zenadora will arrive today, and my Roger & Gallet Ginger gift set before Christmas.
I used to wear KL when I was in college and bought it out of nostalgia. Either my body chemistry has changed or my sense of smell, because when I spritzed it on last night, I was a little suprised at how bad it smelled on me. :(

I bought Mona di Orio "Carnation" and Laura Mercier "Ambre Passion", in Stocjholm, and Tuesday I ordered SL FdO and AP Agent Provocateur - Eau Emotionelle. I don´t think I deserve any more ;D

I didn't buy a thing. Literally...not a thing. Nothing, fragrance-wise...or otherwise.
Not even when I was ordering fragrances for others.
I just can't justify buying any new scents when I wear so few of the many I already have.
Maybe next year. LOL

I'd thought my only perfume me-gift ("self-gift"?:)) for this Christmas would be the Anne Pliska I bought a couple of weeks back...
But then I found myself ordering the big, gold, refillable cannister of Jicky EDT just about an hour ago. Because there was this free shipping offer, you see...and they still promised delivery by Christmas...and so I just sort of...clicked.
So yeah, like you said, Flowerlady, Merry Christmas to me. Reading this thread (and the other), I'm glad to see I'm not the only one.
The Shiseido Relaxing Fragrance sounds like a lovely green, by the way (of course I had to quick look it up after seeing this thread--but I'm through self-gifting for this Christmas). :)

iPdF Mirra was the one I decided I must have considering my budget is tight and I'm cutting back this year. But oh dear ... after trying Heeley Cardinal ... ummmm ... I impulse gifted myself that too! Merry Christmas to me!

I've been craving orange blossom, so I ordered Narcisse Noir edt today. I also added Farnesiana edp to my order, thinking I could use that once in awhile and my parfum would last longer...

My Xmas present to myself scentwise was the two vintage bottles of Tabac Blond Caron in Eau de Cologne strength I bought this month. Still fresh and potent as the EDT is. Just gorgeous smelling.

I've been extremely wicked and self indulgent these last couple of weeks - eight bottles of perfume and a jar of body cream! I just couldn't seem to stop myself. Only three are wrapped up under the tree. I have told everyone not to buy me anything more for Christmas.

I'll wait till after the holidays- see if I got what I'm already pining for. If not, then it most certainly will be "Happy New Year To Me!" :)

I'd love to get
Antaeus Chanel again here. It was my first men's scent bought for myself and love and first sniff for me.
I think this upcoming year, I'll be buying this one again. I have nothing but good memories with this scent.

So
Relaxing by Shiseido is a green scent. Hmmm....sounds nice. I love green scents. I've seen this scent for quite some time at the stores but never had smelled it. I'll have to next time I'm at the stores.

Now I have given up...

I haven't ordered a whole bottle, but yesterday my order of samples arrived from First in Fragrance - and very quick too!
I got:
Caron:
- Bellodgia
- Narcisse Noir edt
- Nocturnes edt
- Montaigne edt
- Royal Bain de Caron
L'Artisan
- L'eau d'Ambre Extreme
- Dzing
- Bois Farine
Knize Ten
Jean-Charles Brosseau: Ombre Rose
Acqua di Parma: Iris Nobile edp
Have only had time to test two:
Narcisse Noir (develops a little strange on my skin - a slight ahem.. fecal note after a while. Any one else get this..?)
Acqua di Parma: Iris Nobile: Initialy it's very like Anais Anais, but the dry down is so much better! - I just checked the notes for these two on Osmoz, and they are nothing alike. Do I remember wrong???
Really looking forward to trying the rest!
Merry Christmas everyone,
K.
