does anyone know that sending perfume out of the us is banned now, or has it always been like this? i keep reading this on peoples auctions on ebay. can anyone shed some light on this? ewwwwwwwww maybe youwont be able to wear perfume when travelling soon..... lol kind of.
I just got a ton of samples from Lucky Scent and am expecting some from two other places in the U.S. I live in Australia, so as far as I know, it is not banned.

You need a special licence I believe. But (wink, wink), I never post fragrance anywhere, just some foundation samples.

There was dicussion about this recently. I think it was mentioned there that it has always been banned. I always mark my postings as cosmetics which does not necessarily mean perfume and have not had problem with that (for shipping TO the states)

I shipped Un Jardin sur le Nil and L 'Instant perfumes last month to Argentina, I had no problem at all, on the custom form I wrote "gift", I think it 's a bad idea to specify "perfume".
