Perfect Veil today. I have been to the doctor so didn't want to upset anyone.

I chose Allure (edt) and am delighting in it.

Why don't I wear it more often? Just got out of a morning meeting and felt a bit self conscious that the sillage was still powerful that close to application, but the scent feels sexy and professional..the vetiver makes it business like, right?? Oh well.

Bourbon French Perfume of Paradise. This one's been a good lesson in giving a perfume time to win your heart. I deeply disliked it on first sniff years ago, yet it has slowly become a real favorite.

I thought about wearing Eau de Merveilles - always good when I need to be cerebral and sharp, yet comfortable. I'm desk-bound all day finishing a paper for Wednesday.
But I wanted a little fun... so I'm testing again. Nanadebary Bronze on my left and Bois d'Iris on my right wrist.

My initial reaction to Bois d'Iris was: Carrots! Not unpleasant just overwhelming. It's the iris root isn't it? It has since mellowed down and I'm looking forward to following it for the next couple of hours.

Bronze is a different kettle of fish... Sweet and girly, kitten-ishly sexy. Apparently it has a tendency to fade rather quickly. We'll see...

I wore Shalimar parfum to bed, and the scent lingered this morning. Spritzed a small amount of Coromandel over it (waves to Teacake) and the combo is really quite nice.

Mona di Orio's Nuit Noir. Like Narcisse Noir crawled into bed with a civet cat. Classic vamp stuff. "I'm ready for my close-up Mr. DeMille!"

Sage Machado's Citrine oil this morning. It's very clean and fresh and gets me going. I'll switch to something else later.

Nandebary Green. Loving this one.

That's a sharp observation, the connection between the two NN's. The contrast is, imo, that Di Orio's sensual and curvy, whereas Narcisse Noir is quite geometrical and severe. A protestant to Di Orio's catholic.. ;-)
