Let's do the perfume alphabet ! Each week we will do a letter of the alphabet.

This week (Sun. thru Sat.) are perfumes starting with the letter O. Go thru your stash and pull out your fragrances that start with O. To make this easy for everyone, in order to meet the challenge you only need to wear one fragrance that begins with O once this week. But it would be fun to wear as many fragrances this week that you can. If you don't have any fragrances that begin with O you can go to a store, friend's, or relative's and spritz on a fragrance that begins with O.

I've just put some Osmanthus on my wrists.

Notes:

- Top: Pomello, davana (sweet Egyptian herb), pimento
- Heart: Osmanthus absolute, water lily and sambac (Indian Jasmine)
- Base: Cedarwood, labdanum resin, musk and vetivert

Today I will be wearing a Body lotion sample of Omnia Crystaline by Bulgari. It is listed as a fresh -floral Oriental and as an aquatic-floral. I'll report back if it's a hit.

Notes include Bamboo, Nashi, Lotus Flower, Balsa Wood.

L'Or de Torrente
L'Or Rouge
- this is my most recent find. I bought it at a local internet auction. A slight disappontment: L'Or has a strong personality and the coffee-rose combination is unique. Red is more bland. Does anyone else have it? I'd like to send a sample to someone who would be willing to compare if it is really genuine and undiluted. On the other hand, I doubt that someone would bother to make a fake of this one.

It is cool and rainy today. The perfect day to wear one of my favorites Organza Indecence.

Top note : Jacaranda wood, Patchouli

Middle note : Cinnamon, Spices, Plum

Base note : Musk, Amber

Two of my all-time favorites start with "O" -- Opium, and Oscar.

I also have a sample of Fleur d'Oranger which would also count, no?

Today I have jumped into a pool of citrus. I am wearing O de Lancome. But it is so much more than just a citrus scent. It has that chypre dry-down that gives it some sophistication.

Today I am wearing a sample of Onyx by Sage

black coconut, tobacco and oakmoss. Its rich and enveloping base note accord of vanilla, amber and sheer musks

I am wearing a sample of Organza First Light by Givenchy in the Shimmering Perfumed Body Veil.



Succulent top notes of citrus, honeysuckle, and white flowers are soothed with velvety woods and vanilla. Other notes of Organza First Light are Citrus Accord, Green Muguet, Gardenia, Jasmine, Ylang-Ylang, Velvety Wood Accord, Benjoin.

Today i am wearing Orange Blossom By Jo Malone. It's very pretty and spring like.



The scent of clementine leaves in the morning dew sparkles above a heart of orange blossom and water lily, transporting the wearer to a garden oasis.

For the last day of O fragrances I am wearing Obsession by CK on this cool, rainy day.
