Full Version: Post A Picture Of Your Perfume Tray/shelf/etc
Perfume of Life > A Civilized Perfume Affair > Talk About Perfume

The thread on fragrance boxes got me thinking...

I wonder what everyone's perfume trays look like (or your drawer, if that's where they are).

Care to post a photo?

(I'd love to start us off, but I lack the technology!!! :-(

This was a while ago, and it's changed a lot, but it captures the feel. I've gotten rid of the Chanel No 5, for instance, and have added more than would comfortably fit in a picture.

By the way, that's the original Royal Secret by Germain Monteil in the pure perfume all the way to the right, and the dark blob behind it is POTL wrapped up in a silvery scarf.

Wow, what a beautiful, poetic and professional looking picture that is Heather!

I'm drooling.

Thanks, Lou. I originally intended it to be a background picture for an article I was writing on perfumes. I didn't write that article, but I'm still keeping the picture around in case I need a good illustration sometime. I'm really glad to finally have a legitimate opportunity to use it: here!

I took this just a couple of weeks ago, I don't keep them like this. They are all in a drawer, but I pulled them out just to photograph.

Nice pictures! I'm not so orderly, mine share a night stand drawer with my excess shaving creams and soaps. (the regular rotation has its own drawer in the bathroom - yes I have too many). They split the drawer around 50/50. If I can cadge some camera time from Mrs. T....well, it still wouldn't help matters.

In contrast to my earlier "golden age of perfume" picture, here's the decant table/alchemy lab/research den that used to be my breakfast table. It's a good thing I don't eat breakfast.

Please tell me there's someone else out there playing mad scientist in an otherwise useful part of the house...

Fantastic !

I agree. Totally fantastic! And so fun to see your pictures. Have no camera (that's true) Let's see. Perhaps I'll borrow one and then learn how to place a picture somewhere on the Internet and then link to it. Will take time to figure that out.

I've posted mine a while ago. Save additional bottles, little has changed. but I love seeing these new pics.
