Does anyone know how to export all the emails from Mail into a file that can then be imported on another computer?
Also, how does one restart all functions, settings and preferrences of the mac? I just sold my old one and want to do that restarting thing.
THANKS!!!

BLV, I don't know how to do either of those things but I know it's possible to transfer the whole email because the technician who serviced my computer had to clear the hard disk completely and then put the email back intact. Considering you have a Mac, is there a Mac store near you? They might know. My nephew has a Mac and whenever he has a question like that he goes there and they help him.
Good luck with that!

There is also a very helpful Mac board: macserialjunkie.com. I browsed through the "Support" section of Apple's site, but nothing jumped out as an answer - you may have better luck.

I think it's best to install the OSX again. It is not difficult at all and this way you get rid of everything the previous owner changed. You can then start with a "clean table".
