I've lost a lip brush I used to love..and I know I cannot find the source for it (gone out of business)...does anyone have a brand they love? I'm looking for a fairly *firm* brush, not too narrow?
Thanks in advance!

What was the one you had?
I like Sephora's and MAC's.

I have others I like, but my little retractable one from Lumene is cheap and very handy.

I love mine, but there was no brand name on it. It's brushed aluminum, not rounded but squared, so it doesn't roll away. It has a "seam" halfway down, making it look like you would pull it apart, but when you pull on it, the brush pops out of one end and retracts back when you push it back together. I love it. Only cost about $5.

I'll check when I get home but I have Trish lip brush with firm, synthetic bristles to apply lipstick.

I'm really happy with the brush I got at Sephora. It's retractable, and very reasonably priced. There were two, and I got the one that was a dollar or two more, because of the SA's recommendation. It's very nice.

Because this thread got me worried about losing my new fave lip brush, I went and bought another one. Guess what? This one has a label -- "Beautee"

If you find a brush you like but the bristles are too long or not shaped the way you want, you can trim or shape them with a razor.

I'm sorry I abandoned ship on the thread w/o another word...I took a "personal holiday" day which began a 3-day weekend - much needed. The original brush I owned was from "Who's The Fairest" and while I've found most of their brand cosmetics here and there, I have not found the brush supplier yet.
I'll probably check out Sephora (twist my arm to go there again) and see what the MAC tho' I hate to spend the $$...there's an art store in town too...hm. Thanks ladies...
