I'll see which film gets the most votes by....let's say next Monday, the 24th. I'll announce "the winnah" in a separate thread and we'll pick a tentative date for the discussion, in January sometime.

What do you mean silent ballot? - do you mean can people vote without posting? ('yes' is the answer to that). Each person can only vote once though. And nominations were made on another thread and open to all.
