Oscar Peterson died, great jazz pianist. He said-" Jazz pianist is an instant composer".

Oh no, what a shame. I've always enjoyed Oscar's recordings. What a talented, talented artist. And I love that he always seemed to be enjoying himself.

He was a big man but tickled those keys with such amazing speed, grace, and delicacy of touch. He had beautiful hands.

Fortunately he will live forever in his recordings...

We were talking a long drive in the car on the 24th, the day after he died, so we got to enjoy a long stretch of his music -- including a rare one that he sang on. I've always loved his music.
Rufus T. Firefly
Great jazz pianist alongside Mr. Erroll Garner. I didn't know the guy was still alive!

Love his version of Just A Gigolo.

Another fan here- I hadn't yet heard of his death. Thanks for mentioning it.

RIP Oscar!

He will be making beautiful music in Heaven! He's a legend especially here, having been from Montreal. The concert hall at Concordia University is named Oscar Peterson Hall. He will be very very missed but his music will live on.
