hmmm. There are some good ones floating around in here, but my critical faculties are dulled by visions of her ribcage and that bit of string under her dress which already leaves little enough to the imagination.
Do you remember way, way back, when Michelle Pfeiffer was cast as Catwoman over Sean Young? Well, Sean Young went unhinged (more so than usual), dressed up as Catwoman, hired a cameraman, and filmed herself on the lot, seeking out the casting director to prove her point. The video aired on some talk show and the fact I can recite this without googling it makes me rather nauseous, but let's press on, shall we?
So here we have Rose McGowan, who I don't recall seeing in any X-Men movies, who seems to be making the same gambit in seeking a starring role in X-Men 4 - Return of the Redhead. She's wearing a shiny X-shaped dress that coordinates with the evening dress at professor Xavier's academy. It's perfect!

She's never been a fashion icon. There are plenty of women with bad taste.

I find her fascinating to look upon.
She has a retro kind of look -- her looks conjure up images of spunky yet sexy stars from the forties and early fifties, for me.
Also, she doesn't have that fake tan look. I like her pallid skin and her dress doesn't even bother me, ribs showing -- boobs showing -- or not.

Granted , she is showing quite a lot of skin but I have been jaded to this sort of thing since J.Lo and the green hankie getup she donned for some award show ages ago.

Hmm.......well, I don't find the dress too revealing. We have seen much worse. I just think it's weird that the dress doesn't do a thing for this beautiful body of hers. It ought to be a piece of cake to dress such a body so it looked attractive.

That was exactly what I was thinking, but I was waiting for others to check in. The bony ribcage showing does nothing for her. She's not one who we think of as underfed. Also, her hair is too messy for what I assume is supposed to be an elegant look.

I like her. And I like her in this dress. She's got something about her that makes her different from the other starlets - like it's been said already, she has this retro vibe going on that is really cool and fitting to her. I don't think the dress is super revealing - it's sexy.........it's nice.

i used to think she was gorgeous but now she's done something weird to her face and she doesn't even look like herself anymore. But I like the dress, not boring and very red carpet

I don't think she's a great talent, but she's certainly gorgeous. I think I like this dress because it's not flattering as per the traditional rules of emphasis but still looks good, as if to say "my body is so superb I don't even have to flatter it. I can make my waist look bigger, and it's still obviously tiny." It's a refreshing rebuke to the "work with your strengths" conservatism that seems to inform most dressmaking.
Love her untanned skin, (apparently) highlight-free hair and absolutely perfect sized breasts. I'd like to see the back.

I think another thing about her which appeals to me so much...is that she doesn't take herself too seriously.
Anyone who may doubt that only has to watch the movies, "Planet Terror" and "Death Proof" ("Grindhouse").

Hmmm....I don't hate the dress but I think the color is wrong. Maybe it is the resolution on my computer, but I thing that a chartruese with her auburn hair would have been sensational.

I think she looks like she's been crying. Or maybe she has allergies.
The dress does nothing for her, IMO. Color is all wrong, and the top doesn't fit right.

This is way better than this dress she wore to some premiere when she was with Marilyn Manson. (Yuck) I had nothing but strings across the butt. She does have an atractive rear but this was just gross.
I mean IT had nothing but strings across the butt! not I.

She does have the Betty Paige thing going on. However, I think dresses like these make the wearer seem desperate, not daring. She doesn't need a dress like that to get attention. That kind of dress is not unique anymore, but she, however has a unique look. Also, I think gold might have been a better color choice. All that being said, I don't know the woman and it is entirely possible that she simply liked the dress. If that is the case, good for her.

I think she's beautiful, but like all 'starlets', she makes fashion mistakes. As for that nude dress...she was dating Marilyn Manson at the time, so her lack of clothing was the least of her problems! ;)

Going nude was her only choice to compete with the fabulous Mr. Mansion, with the fur-collar-trimmed leopard-skin print tuxedo.

Great body but the dress either just gives the appearance or really is causing her to pull her shoulders and upper torso forward resulting in very UNsexy posture...so what's the point of the dress if you're not able to work it, right?

That's because in American English, we say butt. A bum is a tramp or homeless person. Let's not get started on fanny...!

Yuch, for both dresses. The first one looks cheap and the second is simply an asstastic atrocity.
So Hollywood tends to create or draw pathologically, needy attention whores who will go naked to force someone...ANYONE to, LOOK AT MEEEEE!
Too much of anything gets tired and that includes secondary sex characteristics.
This is a girl who could be really pretty and do credit to a beautifully made, flattering dress. She does have that downmarket early fifties pin-up look that could really polish up nicely and make her a knockout if she took the time.
This sort of thing is often mistaken for being free and comfortable with ones body and sexuality. BULL! It reeks of desperation and the panicky desire to not be overlooked...even if the only claim to fame is who beds you or the fact that you're willing to show your *ahem* forbidden zones.
BLEH.
If she wants to do this in style she should come out with a risque calander and dress flawlessly in public.

The color goes great with her hair, *I* think, but I do think she looks a bit thin. Other than that, I dunno....I am no fashion icon or expert myself.
I DO think she is very pretty though.
Methinks her derrière looks just fine.....her cheeks don't look like they are sitting on her thighs to me.....I wish my rear looked that good! LOL

She's a very pretty girl with a beautiful body - the dress is unflattering in its fit and proportions. Either cover the waist or cover the cleavage - leave more to the imagination - ironically, being artfully draped and strategically covered would have been much sexier.

You're right - it's not a dress. Now that I've stopped laughing I can see that it's really just an apron. And specifically a Thanksgiving apron because it comes with turkey trussings already attached. And she didn't bother to put any clothes on under that apron because it gets so darn hot in the kitchen. Now it all makes sense...

My stomach actually rolled when I scrolled down to look at that picture. I can't stand to see bones showing; it nauseates me. I can't remember ever seeing such an unflattering dress, even on gofugyourself.
I don't know this person, but her figure is not impressing me whatsoever, I mean not at all. I've only seen the two pictures of her in this thread, but ... she's ugly. She gives me a bad visceral response.
I do very much like her skin color and the lack of fake tan. But that's about all I can say good.

I have to chuckle a bit.
On that thread about looking like celebrities...I put one of my pics into that thing which matches you up with your celebrity "look-alikes"...and one of my highest matches was Rose McGowan. LOL
I also got Joan Crawford (in the pic they used, I really did look like her!), and Vivien Leigh.
LOL
I kinda did look a bit like McGowan when I was her age, maybe. Uh-oh. LOL
I didn't dress like her, though!
