This film really caught me by surprise. It had received lots of critical acclaim and stuff. For the longest time, I just didn't think I would like this film at all. But finally over the NYE weekend, I watched it and "BOY!" was I bowled over by the movie which is so endearing and touching. And God the music! I'm just enamored by the whole soundtrack. So emotionally power-charged and heartbreaking at times.
I just love the songs: Say It To Me Now, Falling Slowly, Lies, When You're Minds Made Up, etc.... This film and it's music is just sublime, IMO. Very well done for such a low budget movie costing $100,000 to make. Not what I expected at all, this film. To me, one of the best films of the year. But that's just me here and my opinion.
Are there any fans of this film and it's music here? Just like to hear your thoughts on it.
