Well, it definitely looks like a Disneyfied jellyfish, that's for certain. There was a thread on here recently about beautiful libraries--I think you might have posted the link, sillage--and my initial reaction is that a building of this sort is an appalling slap in the face to the history of library architecture. But I really am of two minds on this. Another part of me applauds the audacity of the design and the free social and political atmosphere that's making such audaciousness possible.

I guess history will record the rest.
