I've tried all day to log onto POL and this is the first time I've been able to get on
Has anyone else had any problems?

Volupte, I had no problem during the day today, however there was a notice yesterday that POL would be down for maintenance between 11pm last night and 7am today. Other than that, could the problem have been with your Internet provider?

Yeah, I was just able to get on tonight myself after trying all afternoon. I posted about this on MUA. Got little serious response, it moves too quickly over there. I was able to pull other pages, though. So I assume the problem was with this site.

Funny you should mention MUA. I went over there to see if there was any info and when I did a search for POL, I got some eye opening threads. One on January 5 regarding a certain member of POL who evidently was wreaking havoc there, too, and was booted off. Also, there were complains that we were all too cliquish. I always thought MUA was cliquish!

I think I saw the same eye opening threads you did when I did my search. LOL!

Donna hasn't been able to get onto POL.

Yes, even with the time difference late last evening I still could not get on at all.
Even tried doing it in a roundabout way two through LLPs.

I could not get on yesterday through AOL, but when I went my Firefox browser, I had no problem at all.

I had trouble all morning yesterday, but it was cleared up by the afternoon.

I use Firefox and haven't had any problem logging on. But I am not getting any notifications anymore since yesterday afternoon about posted messages. I checked "My Controls" and everything is fine there. But there does seem to be some glitch.

Katy, I've noticed this glitch with email notifications too. Every once in a while they just stop--could be for a couple of days. Then, all of a sudden, they all come out. What has been happening this week is even odder: I've been getting notifications from last October! It may just be that the site maintenance changed some settings along the line that can take a while to iron out.

I had trouble logging on all morning yesterday, and my email notifications have completely stopped.

I think I'll stay away from there then.
