Just live by the motto: Je suis une Parisienne!

Great, Lou! This is exactly what I do.
One week in Paris each year gives me enough backbone, strength, esprit to stick to this feeling, and so it works in Berlin just as well!
Ok, people here sometimes look at you, because 'une parisienne' just behaves different from the ordinary Berlin crowd, but lalalala, does this matter? A true parisienne enjoys this!

"Another reason older Frenchwomen have an easier time is that they're apparently less choosy about their bedmates."
I'd call that desperation.

PerfumeMe, that is not per se in terms of looks, but in terms of perspective (relationship wise). Nothing to do with desperation, but with 'joie de vivre'. A French term.

Call it whatever you want , desperation or "joie de vivre " as Vitabo or call it " Sex is in the air" It is impossible to describe, but you'll know when you are there, or in Italy.

Yes, they do! And women take it as a given and even, ( shock, horror! ) smile back!

As for not caring if their spouses sleep around, why are there so many divorces in France?
I used to work with a Frenchwoman who divorced her husband because he was unfaithful. She resented what she felt was a stereotype of the French -- that everyone was screwing everybody else and nobody minded.
