I was happy to see two poodles in the Best In Show competition this year - they haven't placed in a few years I think. I have a toy poodle so I'm partial to poodles ;-) Uno is a gorgeous pup though - beautifully built, a real winner.

I love beagles. Our first dog, Cindy, was a beagle mutt. Sweetest dog that ever lived. She could bay with the best of them, too.

Right after I read this thread the cutest beagle came into my garage. I keep the door open for our cat to go in and out. I never saw him before. It is sleeting out, so I guess he came in to get some shelter. He had a collar on, so I am thinking he was let out unleashed because of the bad weather. He stayed for awhile and then left.

I'm waiting for a Pharoah hound to win Best in Show. (sigh)

He was a very fine dog, and the crowd was wild for him. I was very pleased to see him win, and see him barking his joy!

I thought he was adorable too--he was my favorite among the group winners. I've always kinda wanted either a Beagle or Bassett Hound. But my husband says I'd take any dog, which is pretty much true. Normally, I root for the Scottish Terrier, Pembroke Welsh Corgi, and German Shepherd which are all breeds I've owned before.

He is so pretty, and it was amazing to watch how excited he was when he won, as if he knew exactly what it was all about. He was on Today this morning, and Matt asked about his future. He will obviously have *a lot* of girlfriends. ;-)

This dog was have a publicist. He was just on Martha Stewart, along with Wishbone, the best of breed French bulldog, who was adorable.
