Well, I was in a very weak moment at the pet store. I went there this morning to get dog treats for my 10 year old Shih tzu. Something lured me over to the puppies. And, of course, you know the rest of the story. Yes, Shorty has a little brother. They named him Nemo at the store, I think it kind of fits. He's about 4 months old & is sitting in my lap. He's a snuggler. The girls at the store just loved him all the time. He just snuggles up to your neck all the time.

So far Shorty has accepted him really well. She is in a state of shock though since she's been the princess of this house for a long time.

Oh boy, what have I done. I really thought it would be fun to have a companion for Shorty. They look so cute together. TThey are already playing, running in circles with each other.

I guess I've spent my tax money early. But, what a lot of fun now with two.

Girlpunky, how sweet! If and when you can post a pic, I for one would love to see the two of them. Even though they're dogs, Shorty and Nemo are lucky ducks to have such a good home and great companions (yourself at the top of the list, of course)!

I don't know if you work or not, but I think Shorty is going to really appreciate having the company when you aren't home.

Oh, congrats! I'll bet they're adorable together. And I want pics, too!

New baby doing fine. He is adorable. I think I've changed his name to Spunky. My nickname as a kid was punky.

We had a wet, 2 inch snowfall this morning, so potty training is getting a slow start. He goes out with Shorty, but so far just walks a little ways & plunks his little self down. It is so funny.

When I hold him, sometimes Shorty barks at us --guess that's the jealously showing. But, overall, Shorty just acts like, oh well, just something else in the house.

I will promise to get pictures to you. My camera batteries are low/ so whenever I can get to store I'll post some of the duo.
