If so, what for?
Someone gave me a bottle and other than spritz my face, I'm at a loss. I'm sure there's more to do with it.

Yeah, I think it's mainly soothing from a moisturizing standpoint and also aromatherapeutically...also soothing to the emotions. You must be so soothed, now. hee hee

I use it on my skin, and have for a long time.
It really does have a mild anti-inflammatory effect. It seems to refine the skin as well. I have recommended it to those of my clients who have "active" skin, telangiectasia, or rosacea. They are all addicts now. It reduces or eliminates the redness in rosacea.
I recommend applying with a cotton ball after every time you cleanse, before putting on moisturizer.

Wow! I'm going to try this! I have rosacea and I'd really like to tone it down.
Rosewater can also be used in cooking. North African, Middle Eastern, maybe Indian too. I think baklava has rosewater in it.

Persians tend to use rosewater in their baklava, sometimes. Also in some summer drinks. There is also a rose ice cream that is divine.
You can get a good-sized bottle of very good rosewater very inexpensively at middle eastern grocery stores... anwhere from 1.50 to 2.50 per bottle.

I use rosewater in my baking, to make syrup for drinks, sprinkled over fruit salad. I occasionally use it on my skin and am interested to discover it will calm facial redness.

Me, too -- I think I'm developing a bit of rosacea on my cheeks, a/k/a the middle-aged Irish curse!
I use rosewater sometimes to spritz my sheets and pillowcases before I go to bed.

Michele:
Mona's sells rose water for about 2 or 3 bucks a bottle as well as orange flower water.....Mona's offers a beverage called Persian Tea that is to die for using both of these. It is iced tea , they say they use regular Lipton tea, to make iced tea then sweeten it and add a splash of rosewater and orange flower water and to finish this treat off they add pine nuts to the tea. Very refreshing and delicious. both rose water and orange flower water are added sparingly. When I first tried it I over did it and it was to perfumey to drink. Try it at Mona's if you haven't yet.
I also use both of the waters on my hair after a shower , this too is refreshing and doesn't interfere at all with your scent as it evaporates quickly taking the scent along with it.

When I hand wash delicate clothing, I add a bit of either rosewater or orange flower water along with my unscented soap.
I add a splash of rosewater to filtered water in the summer sometimes.
And we've got a container of rose-cherry sorbet in the freezer right now. Yummy!

Rice pudding, custards pretty much anything mild tasting that you want to add a little exotiticism to.

Oh thanks for the ideas. I'm not much for cooking, though. When I do, it's usually Creole. I think I'll just be spritzing throughout the summer.
