I just had some Silk Soy Nog (no cream or eggs) and I think it's as good as any other commercially prepared nog I've ever had. 90 calories per 1/2 cup - a legitimate alternative to the "real" stuff.

I've never tried Silk Soy . . . they keep offering it to me, at COSTCO . . . next time I'm there, I'll take a sip.

I am mildly lactose intolerant so I use soy milk instead of the moo variety for cereal. There are several good brands, but my favorite is the Silk Extra Vanilla which may only be available in some areas. This soy nog is very tasty.

My Mom and sister drink soy milk. My Mom had this and I tasted it.
I'm a nog lover and it was quite tasty.

Years ago, over here in the UK, we had a cartoon character on TV called Nogin the Nog. He was a Viking...
Nog isn't that popular over here.

Egg Nog is a traditional holiday, particularly New Year's party beverage - well laced with rum or other spirits. But since the Silk brand Soy Nog has no egg in it, one must refer to it as "Nog". I have no idea what the history of this beverage is, but I always thought it was British. Live and learn.

This stuff is getting hard to find. They are out of half gallons in my local supermarkets. We had to get quarts. This stuff is so good.
