I know this question has been asked before but I would like to hear an updated list. What perfumes feature that fabulous sharp, green, almost savory note that you get when you pick a fresh tomato and brush those furry grey-green leaves with your hand? I think it is one of the nicest smells inthe world. The only perfume that I own that has this note is DKNY, but I know that there are others. I am pretty sure that both Annick Goutal and Laura Tonnato have one. (Or am I thinking Laura Tonnato just because her name is so close to tomato???) I would love to hear about people's favorites in this category and why.

Look no further than Sisley EAU DE CAMPAGNE which boasts tomato leaves as one of its notes. It's not a complex fragrance, just a very refreshing, true green bracing unisex "cologne": bergamot, tomato leaves, green notes, lawn grass. That's about it!
Some people say that this one smells like DEEP WOODS OFF!, but I think it smells marvy, and I have a bottle of it. On a hot day, after a cool shower, it's the ticket.
Our friend Armanis once turned me onto a YSL that his sister was fond of called VICE-VERSA. It's a most unusual thing-- kinda weird, even, IMHO--- which also has a crushed tomato-leaf brack to its heart-notes.

Dave's right. Eau de Campagne is the one you want.

Eau de Campagne by Sisley and the green bottle of Nina Ricci les Belles (Liberté aciddulée).
I like the note because it's unusual and outdoorsy, also very refreshing and savoury, as you said.

I think Annick Goutal Folavril is the one you're thinking of. I love the smell, too, but this is one of those cases where, while I love the smell, I would not want to smell like that myself.

Laura Tonnato does have one: Iss. It's along the same lines as Eau de Campagne.
Also, Nicholas I by Hove.
I love tomato leaf as well. Which reminds me of Bergamot, our resident chief tomato leaf fan. Hope she's doing well and hurries back soon.

Demeter do a scent called Tomato!
This is a great one, as is Christopher Brosius' later variation on this theme, Memory of Kindness (from his CB I Hate Perfume line).

You know, I can admire all these perfumes intellectually but speaking personally, the last thing I want to smell like is tomato leaves!

I swapped a bottle of Eau de Campagne away some time ago, but it is definitely tomato leaves!

Oh, one of those scents that totally means "summer"!
So far, Demeter's Tomato is the most obviously tomato-leaf scent I've tried, followed only by l'Ombre dans l'Eau (where it decorates a green rose kind of scent). In my opinion, in Folavril it's not a very apparent note in my opinion; and also in Yerbamate it is not as sharp and obvious as one might hope.

I believe JCE's garden scent for Hermès, Un Jardin En Mediterranée, has some tomato leaf.

ITA with the Eau de Campagne suggestion. The most tomatoleafiest of them all!
I think a Goutal that has a noticeable tomato-leaf note is Eau de Camille. Interestingly enough, when Annick Goutal was in Montreal in the 1990s promoting her perfumes she said that all of her scents (that existed up to that time) had tomato leaf in them, that it was a signature note she put in all her perfumes.

I remember reading that Chantal Thomass had tomato leaves in its notes....I googled to find it is now discontinued, but still around and discounted.
I did spray it on a tester strip a few years ago, but was not taken with it....now I wish I could try it again. lol

I own this scent. The bottle is so happy and cute. I've not worn it yet this season but from what I recall you really smell the blackcurrant floral notes with the tomato note cutting through the blend of notes. I really like it and I repeat - I love the Alice in Wonderland style bottle.
I think Pol member Anna loves this scent and perhaps if she sees this thread, she'll comment.
