I don't hate Helen Mirren.
I've had a "girl-crush" on her ever since seeing her in "Excalibur"...way back in 1981.
I think she's FANtastic!

Anyway...I am jealous of how she looks in a bikini:


I just know she has a flaking, aging portrait of herself...hidden in a deep closet or her attic! *LOL*
And I wish I had kept myself up as she has...to look so fabulous in a bikini, mature woman that she is...

Both she and Meryl Streep are two of the greatest actresses! Meryl is 59. I just rewatched "Calendar Girls" with Helen and loved it all over again.

Those women have a LOT of advantages that we don't unless we had lots of money..........

In "The Queen," it's pretty clear that Helen Mirren has a wide-ish bottom and thick-ish calves. She still looks great, but I think this photo-shopped picture has restored her to former glory.

Has she ever been pregnant, had surgeries, or babies? No.

Therein lies your answer, my beloveds.

Not that I'm ungracious, or unappreciative, mind; but, as someone who has bathed THOUSANDS of bodies [ since age 6 !], I can safely say that the body is indeed a roadmap of one's life...

My 72 y o maiden aunt never worked out; but she never gained/ lost much weight, nor was she ever pregnant.
When I bathed her [ after a massive stroke], I couldn't believe how lovely her form was- along with little sun exposure, btw.

A propos of Helen-
I really admire her.
I'm conflicted somewhat, because many interviews show a very brittle, entitled side of her that does not appeal...
That doesn't detract, however, from her immense talent.

They beefed her up for that role. She wore a lot of padding.
