The title should be sufficient. I can't come up with anything myself, and am hoping this community will help me. I will reward the person who comes up with the name I like with three bottles of their favorite fragrance. Thanks in advance.

Why not use JC's Scents or JayCeez Scents? Or JayCee, Jazzy Scents?
If I ever get around to opening my own place, I want to call it Perfume Isle or Perfume aIsLe.
Use a play on words using a name or something that is important to you...childs name, your other half's name...the word SCENT like SCENT-SATIONAL or something along those lines. Something clever & catchy, easy to remember & relate to your product...perfume!

Hi, new member! If your initials are JC, I agree with scentsablyurs that using your user name JCScents itself would be great! If those are not your initials, whatever they are might do the trick. I'll tell you why I like that name: it's short and snappy and easy to remember, easy to say, it describes the product, it identifies the proprietor, and it stands out as different from other composite names with perfume or scent in them that could get confused with something similar. It sounds original and I want to go to JCScents right now! Good luck with the new boutique!

FiveOaksBouquet,
I have always loved
your name! I think it would make a very classy name for a perfume store. Of course you should get the credit, as it is your name!

Personally, I wouldn't do a word play with "scent" because I think it's been done to death. I'd go for something more interesting. Something that will make people ask about the name, actually. Something that is very personal, about the way scent makes you feel..what it represents to you...and only you know that for sure.
Give more background to how you came to this decision. Is it just a financial venture or a dream realized?

Why, thank you, rebecca, glad you like it! And a percentage, of course!

If I had a perfume store, I could easily call it
Fiveoaks' Bouquet.

J.C., use your name or an elegant name you like. Looking at your profile, it doesn't say where you're from so there's no clue to locale.
Feature the word PERFUMES in your business. More people use the word Perfumes than Scents. I'm the first to post this so I deserve the freebies.

Are you intending to have your sales come from a bricks & mortar store or sell online
and offline from a mall or shop?

I guess it does depends on the area. But what about something more ambiguous, like...oh, I don't know
Transcend
Sojourn
Redolence
OK, I know there is the cheesy French factor, but what about....Sillage?
Sillage also means Slipstream in English, which would make an interesting name. In fact, I like that one best, if people woudn't automatically make a boat reference. It's catchy and makes one wonder...

I have to run these, and all the other ones submitted, through my business partners and I will let the entire community know what we decide (and of course reward the member who submitted it). Here is some info.: Our location will be Hoboken, NJ OR Meadowlands, NJ. We carry a very large inventory of perfumes, some that are impossible to find in the U.S. Most of our sales will be from the store, while we do wholesale online. The website is yet to be established.
Finally, if someone has another suggestion for the name, please don't hold back. Thank you all again.
