My youngest DS turned eight yesterday but we are celebrating tonight. As has become the custom in our house, he has choosen the menus for the family today. Here are his selections, in his words: Lunch: "tacos--make sure you have crunchy shells and the yellow and white cheese (colby-jack), you can have lettuce but I don't want any." Dinner: "Lasagne, with pepperoni in it and no spinach Mom, green beans, garlic bread, you know the kind in the yellow box, chocolate peanut butter cake with the chocolate frosting and homemade ice cream, you can pick what kind but not strawberry."

He is a rather bossy young man, as you can tell. I decided on cookies and cream ice cream.

He has his head screwed on right about the strawberry ice cream ! I beg to differ on the spinach and it is indeed very kind of him to allow lettuce at the table AND he has impeccible taste in cake , be proud !
