I decided that I still love this show, even after the long hiatus. Looks like this season will have some interesting twists too. Biggest shock was Leticia arrested for Dutch's murder. Can't be her, can it? How about Simon vs. Tripp--who has the upper hand here? Sooner or later Nick and Karen have to get together, and I can't imagine Lisa and Jeremy would ever get serious. Thoughts about this show?

With everything going in the "real world", this is still a guilty pleasure for me.

I only caught the end of it - the arrest was spectacular. I have to say re: Karen and Blair Underwood, I am not sure who is playing whom there. What did Karen hand her father at the party on the yacht?? I missed the beginning of this episode so...

And IMO Nick is spineless for not standing up to Tripp and walking away from all this DRAH-MA, esp. as it is endangering his marriage. I was pleasantly surprised when he punched Jeremy though, because he's usually so wimpy who knew he'd react that way re: Jeremy kissing his wife? (as hypocritical as that is).

I agree that Nick and Karen will get together, but then I will hate Nick even more for being even more wimpy!

Karen gave her father a crystal swan from Simon's apartment. Earlier, she was looking through Simon's Blackberry and then she picked up the swan and when Simon caught her looking at it, he told her that he first saw the swan in a shop when he got to New York and as soon as he was making money, bought it to remind himself of where he came from (or something like that--I was trying to get kids to bed in between commercial breaks, so my watching was somewhat interrupted). Simon had told Karen he loved her, and Karen at the time seemed to be distracted and thinking about Nick. She brings a bottle of Grappa to Nick's office and wearing a wrap-around dress and apparently nothing else, slips out of it and wishes Nick a happy birthday. He hands her the dress and she tells him about what's going on with Simon and how she wants to feel something for him but doesn't. Here's where I missed a bit, Karen goes back to Simon and apparently has decided she does feel something for him (?) and gives Simon back the vial of alternative, non-toxic clean burning fuel that Simon had given her earlier to give to Tripp. When she leaves, Simon calls an unidentified person and says he has Karen right where he wants her, and then she shows up at Nick's party and gives the swan to Tripp. Still some big unanswered questions there!

I am sooo glad that it is back. I enjoyed every minute of if. I think the mom might die later in the series. Have you noticed that the other sister is not there? I thought she was the one who would die but it turned out to be Patrick's drunken wife.

The actress who played the other sister (Jeremy's twin) is off to rehab-land (IRL). She may return for some guest appearances but won't be back full-time.

So, the priest-brother is extremely creepy, yes? Also, did something happen to his baby-mama? I caught the end of a scene with him and Tripp... Discuss!

His babymama is Sheryl Lee, the former Laura on "Twin Peaks". That was one of my favorite shows back in the day. She is also married to Neil Diamond's son, Jesse, IRL and they have a son. I am just a mountain of trivia.........

She's still in rehab?

I remember in one scene when the former priest/rev came home and asked where she is (I don't remember the character's name) to his mom and she said that she packed her things and left. Apparently, she got her, I think her Visa, to go back to Brazil.

I would like to know how the police got information about the mom murdering Dutch. Was it Simon who made that phone call? Remember, he is out to get the Darlings.

I will probably watch it again over the weekend.

Pretty good show again last night. More twists and turns. It's getting harder and harder for me to figure out who's playing whom. Is Simon's motivation for sandbagging Karen jealousy against Nick, or is he up to something else? The reveal on Lucy Liu's character was a surprise. Letticia's trial is going to have to be drawn out if they are going to make Liu's character a primary one, or I guess they could just continue her involvement with Jeremy...And wasn't it weird or what--any semi-normal person would have just revealed their "encounter" and probably got the case against their Mom dismissed, but no, he goes back for more! Fascinating! Also the funeral=circus. Crazy! Keeps me watching!

This show is alright. It's really nothing special to me, that is. I have to admit I do not like most of the characters on this show. No one has that inner charm that you just want to root for them. They are a bunch of money hungry shallow people.

I watch it because when you got nothing else to watch, its better than watching nothing at all....
