Discuss anyone you want from either side of the pond or here in the U.S. wherever. Who yanks your chain
a lot because of their stupidisms?!!!!
For me, Meredith Grey on Grey's Anatomy really does get on my nerves. NO ONE CAN BE THIS DEPRESSED AND NON-COMMITTAL that wants to be "supposedly" in a relationship!!!!!
"@#$%%^^^^&^%$##@@@@@@@$&OOUITYURIYR"
Oh and
CANNOT STAND Horatio Cane from CSI Miami. I swear David Caruso has to be the worst actor alive. He's so phony and transparent as his character on that show, we had to stop taping it!!! That show really does bother me with all the cops in pastels and their super hi-tech crime stopping wares. I swear watching this show is a joke and to believe it's the highest rated of all the CSI shows. What a joke and how lame of Jerry Bruckheimer to make people like this piece of junk!!!
Some of the one's discussed in the link I have to sort of agree with too. Locke on Lost does get on my nerves too.
Who are yours?

LOL!
I have become so selective with what I do watch on the television...it's hard for me to "hate" any of the characters on my favorite shows. Even the vile, the oily, the really annoying! LOL
They all have a place in these shows.
Now...if I'm watching something which my husband or mother or son may like and I'm pretty indifferent to...well...then I can find myself pretty much being annoyed by quite a few of the characters.
Right now I must either be in a very mellow mood or my memory isn't serving me well...because I can't remember anyone who bugs me. Huh.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - Danny De Vito just bugs me on a all levels
In the past, the mother on the Cosby show, Phylicia Rashad annoyed me so much that I couldn't enjoy the show.
Dr. Phil and Tyra Banks are just unreal and unlikeable to me.
All three of the scene shredding actresses on Charmed
...I'm just warming up

Simon Cowell , I have never been able to watch American Idol since the one quick initial view. I have no idea why or what it is about that man , but at first sight all I wanted to do was throw my shoe at the TV , but sense prevailed , I would be out one telly and Cowell none the wiser .......... to this day the sound or look of him bring to the surface the most irrational loathing I have ever felt.
I could go on and I might as they come to me , but life has been pretty good , I only ever turn the telly on for Lost -nothing at all to hate there , oh no , its all about love or lust for me -or the odd bit of news

Okay, I don't watch this show because Phil watches it. But everytime I do catch a glimpse of it, I want to just get an oozie and shoot the t.v. screen is the show, Smallville!
"Anything on that channel makes me want to do that really!!"
I swear that guy that plays Clark Kent, Tom Welling is nice to look at, BUT he's such a WIMP even though he's Superman!
He makes me sick longing after that ho, Lana Lane!!! And all those other tramps: Lois and Chloe on there really get on MY NERVES!
I really hate this show! Glad I don't really watch it on a regular basis. Phil watches when I go to sleep at 10 p.m. THANK GOD!!!

Mando! Thanks for a good laugh. I'm with you on Horatio Cane, but I have to say that I view that show more like a video game than an actual drama. You know, count the beats til he comes out with a pronouncement, wait for him to take off his sunglasses, wait for him to teleport to the scene of the action (he never arrives like a normal character, he just suddenly appears, with no warning except past experience to tell us when he's most likely to step on the scene ... )
I actually watch Smallville, but I really do hear where you're coming from. ( I think the show suffered as a whole specifically because of the silly way the Clark/Lana story played out. One season I honestly thought they'd absolutely broken up four or five times, because they kept having these 'we can't keep doing this' heart to heart talks, but sure enough, in the next episode, there they wear together again as though the conversation of the previous episode had never taken place. Baffling. I like Lana much more since she married/divorced Lex, her character's a lot more interesting now. And FWIW, she's left 'for good' this time, with just a few appearances planned for the rest of the season. I'm assuming she won't show up again once they quit paying her to do so, LOL!)
As for me, who do I hate? Strange question, since I tend to just change the channel if a character's that irksome and doesn't offer me anything in the way of entertainment. On the other hand, I really disliked the character of Sweets on Bones. I absolutely despised his character last season, but for whatever reasons, I'm now convinced he's hilarious. I can't wait for last season to come out on DVD so I can get another view of his character, just to see if I can figure out what rubbed me the wrong way. (I hated that whole Gormogon story line, hated it with a passion, but had to keep tuning in to see what silliness would ensue.)

I love the show, Bones too but I have to concur that whole Gormogon thing was really dumb. Why get rid of the really dorky smart guy with a subtle robotic sense of humor? I liked him and now we have to suffer through all these interns till he returns back to the show again. Why?!! I love Emily Deschanel on this show, she's hilarious! Such the straight man to David Boreanz's character. Sweets is funnier this season than last year, I agree. He's weird though... Oh well.
OH and that gal, Angela on the show is really starting to get on my nerves with her whole "free spirit" thing going on. I mean, she meets bearded dude on the show, his name is alluding me now and she falls in love with him and then all of a sudden her soon to be ex husband shows up in the picture and they have a tiff and then they end it and then act all weird with one another after that. I'm like, "Beeaaaaactch! What's your problem?!!! Get over yourself! He's got money, he's cute and smart and you have commitment issues!!!" Okay, that storyline has gotten under my skin.
Okay, Mando needs to not get his hair in a dander over dumb stuff like this! LOL!!!!!
That whole Horatio teleportation thing he does and then saying something really stupidly cryptic at the beginning of the show was just too much for me take. I kept on screamin at the t.v. screen when he ever came on and said "DIE!!!!!" I was so disappointed that he wasn't killed off, even though we all know he wasn't going to die this new season.
Oh and that show, Dirty Sexy Money.... let me tell you, it's not bad but that young man, I don't know his name is really bugging me. The one that's lusting after Peter Krause's wife on the show. He irks me, I guess because he's rich and spoiled and just a really twit.
Oh well... I think it's healthy to hate t.v. characters because it's better to hate real people in this life because you can't get rid of those folks unless they are at your job, then you can find another job (not right now though because of the hard times everyone is dealing with) or if you're married into the family, you're sort of stuck! UGH!! Thank God, I like Phil's family and his family is really small.

I also hated the character of Horatio Cane on CSI Miami, but I found I disliked many of the characters on that show, especially Calleigh Dusquene - the blonde guns expert. Ugh, I could not stand her either. I stopped taping it a long time ago. It seemed especially ridiculous and far-fetched, more so than the others. I like CSI and CSI NY still, but both also have characters I can't stand. I don't like Sarah Sidle on the regular CSI and I don't like the character of Stella Bonasera. Both are just too high and mighty for my taste. Sometimes the scenarios are interesting on the show, often they are ridiculous. I watch the show mainly to see the evolution of the characters that I like.
Dennis Reynolds on "It's Always Sunny..." just bugs me. I hate that stupid duster. And he seems so full of himself. He's funny (as is the entire cast) but he bugs me. Mac is my favorite character on that show.
I never liked Kramer on Seinfeld. He just bugged me. Or Joey, Phoebe or Ross on Friends. Most of the characters on that show (Friends) were so annoying as was the dialogue. Not a Friends fan.
I don't like Carrie on SATC either. Funny, not to like the main character, but it's true. I love Samantha and I love Miranda, but Carrie and Charlotte are usually annoying.
It's funny how some actors just bug people. I have a friend who can't stand to watch anything with Kevin Costner in it.
I don't like Matthew McConaughey or Kate Hudson in most cases. If they're in something, chances are I won't see it.

- Maury Povich is still around

- Gossip Girl. (Yes, Entertainment Weekly Magazine, I understand this show is not made for the likes of me. I'm too old, fat, and ugly, and poor. Ditto Phylicia Rashad and everyone on Friends. Everyone on Desperate Housewives. Ugh. And Raven Symone when she was little and on the Cosby show - I HATE overcoached "cutesy" kid actors. Punky Brewster too and anyone else like that. HATE.
On 'Dirty Sexy Money' it is Nick I can't stand. Jeremy is just a young dope (trivia - he is Ron Howard's son-in-law IRL). But Nick is such a wimp! If I were his wife I'd'a walked out long ago because of this BS with him and the Darling family, esp. Karen. Also the guy who plays the former-priest brother gives me the willies. OK. I can relate on these two shows. Never could watch "Friends". Watching the whole cast made me feel like I was wearing itchy wool underwear, scratchy wool pants, and thick and bristly wool sweater...covered by a rough, woolen army blanket. *shudder*
And here's one that's going to win me more enemies...
While I found Tina Fey's impressions of Sarah Palin to be dead-on and funny when they first aired, they're old hat, now.
That was the ONLY time I've ever thought Fey was funny, though. I don't get her allure.
We rented "Baby Mama" or whatever it's called...and I swear that the trailer was funnier than the movie.
My son wanted to see it so we got it on VOD or PPV or whatever that is...and we found it dull and uninspired...re-hashed from stuff that was funny in other films but so used and abused in this one...it was almost pathetic.
Yeah, Tina Fey bugs me...mostly because I think she's so bland.

Had a think and here goes-
Horatio Cane of CSI Miami ( I am waiting for CSI Melbourne - I mean they get around! ) always looks so Depressed at the end of the show - he has got the baddie but he looks like he is about to "do himself in" every week!
Raymond of "Everyone Loves Raymond" , well , I don't . What a smart A** wimpster!
Dr Phil's darn Wife! I am fascinated with her plastic lips. The woman now host's and I don't like his pushy kids either and have you noticed the whole bloody family write BOOKS that they all promote like crazy! I would Never buy one!!!!
Julia Roberts and her extra teeth.
Jerry Lewis - he is coming "down under" doing his show - guess who is not going? He always comes across as a nasty type to me.
Every rotten friend in "Friends" - especially Jennifer Aniston . Every magazine I see tells me to fell so sorry for poor old sad and lonely Jen while they show picks of her on a boat or fancy city etc. Like fun I feel sorry for her!
Terri and Bindi of Croc Fame. I am "bindied " out ! We all are over here.
Charlie Sheen and the 2 1/2 Men show. Yik
I am with the person who is sick of Paul Mc C of the Beatles and you can throw in Heather "Hoppy" Mills too!
Jamie Oliver of "Pukka Tukka" cooking fame! He makes my skin crawl. I would never go to his restaurants or buy his books
Will Smith is just too "try hard" cute . He is just too old for that now.
Gwyneth Paltrow - a shocking long drink of water that can't act.
Now you can throw rocks at me!

What exactly is the excitement about Jennifer Aniston, anyway? Because Pitt dumped her? Because she was on Friends? Because of that haircut? Has she ever been in a really successful film, in which her performance was outstanding? Not that I can remember.
For me, she's like Eva Longoria. I just don't get it. Someone enlighten me, please.

I just watched the Rachel Zoe show last night and was horrified at the shallow-ness of the characters (and this is a reality show so I guess it's the actual people I don't like). Rachel Zoe and her husband Rodger are the Barbi and Ken of Hollywood. Both of them are totally consumed with money, their jobs, and with the boring drama (to me) of their lives. The one bright spot in the show was the occasional interview with Jennifer Garner who seemed to realize that dressing up for an Oscar show was fun but not life changing. I did sit through the entire show - sort of morbidly fascinated that these people actually exist.
