My kids (adults now) love to watch the reruns of this show! They both even want the series DVDs. Guess it reminds them of when they were young...........

Char, if there's nothing else on while I'm on the treadmill (or home sick from work) I will still watch this show. Talk about reliving my childhood! But even better is reruns of The Partridge Family. I have a sick, sick little soft spot for that show.

Re Maureen McCormick--I watched her on Celebrity Fit Club and she seems a genuinely decent person--the kind of "extremely nice niceness" that is hard to fake, especially long term, as opposed to an actor portraying a nice person for the camera. I found myself rooting for her. I'm not surprised that she had trouble with substance abuse, as she seems like the kind of person who is a people pleaser and very sweet natured.
