I've read about this scent being light, fresh, wildly feminine, utterly sophisticated , luxurious and chic and now I'm intrigued. (Also because it contains rose. ;) )

I never even heard of it. Is it new?

This is a really new Guerlain that I think is only being sold at the Paris boutique at the moment. I'm sure one of the Guerlain experts here will pop in with more information.

I liked it, bit it didn't knock my socks off. It's a fresh, slightly fruity rose with notes of violet, musk and a bit of iris. I expected better from Guerlain.

I tried this yesterday. If you are a rose lover, you will probably like this one, although I am not sure it will knock your socks off. It was very pleasant and wearable, but I prefer a fresher rose scent, like Annick Goutal's Rose Absolue. The Rose Barbare went through a sour stage on me, which many roses do (notably Stella). The drydown was very good though. It's a Guerlain exclusive to the Champs Elysees boutique, although they may have it at the Bergdorf Goodman Guerlain boutique, I'm not sure.
