In an email Karl of Aedes sent me, he mentioned they got in 3 new scents from Montale: Greyland, Black Oud and Vanilla, no details nor did I see any mention of them on their site yet.

Where is Montale Rose Ta'if? I can't find it anywhere.

Greyland is a masculine tea fragrance, black oud is intense oud almost single note, vanilla is a smokey-sweet vanilla a bit too gourmand for my taste. I got samples from Naz at the perfume shoppe in Vancouver.

Thanks! For some reason Greyland sounded interesting, now that you have provided some info; even more so. But the same I can not say for the Black Oud, as the only Oud I like is the Lime Oud, and I think the lime "gentles it"
Vanilla didn't sound like my cuppa tea.

additional info on Greyland: tea+seagrass+oud+musk very masculine not unisex. Musk dry-down.

My husband owns several Montale perfumes. His favourite is Black Oudh. It is wonderful - dark, smokey, earthy. Very sensual. I don't find the oudh strong in this, but then, I love oudh perfumes and the smell of oudh. He also has Blue Amber which is a smoky amber, quite pungent.
