Changed my 3-next-purchases-mind on saturday and went for the mid-size bottle of Stella EdP.
It's sooo nice and rosy! And also the bottle is very beautiful, i find.
A dark, moist, full dark-red (a cool red-tone) rose with additional notes of peony, mandarin and a soft amber basenote.
By the way: Rose has a positive effect on the mood, harmonizing, sensual and "narcotic". Helping against low feelings.
I really enjoy sniffing my wrist every five minutes. The dry-down is so soft and sexy, this will be my spring/summer scent I supose.
For wintertime the intense version might be still deeper and warmer.
Any other lovers of this beauty?

I like it very much too. I usually do *not* like rose scents on me, they are cloying, so I hesitate to say I love this one, but I can wear it. And it smells very good to me. I agree the bottle is pretty to me.
I have to wear it more often. I'm waiting for a day when I have to scrub it off, as I have to most rose scents, but so far, so good!

I was not too impressed with the original Stella, but I had a decant of the Stella Rose Absolue and I loved that.

I'd like to add that i also love this year's Sheer Stella a lot.
It has more hesperidic-notes in the head-notes (additional to the mandarin here's citrus also) and it's still a true rose and not too pink or girly at all.
The heart is rose and the base is amber, just as the original scent. I am thinking about stocking this one up for summer.
I love the milk-glass bottle a lot which has kind of ink-drawn big blossoms, bees and hummingbirds on it.

Good for you! Enjoy!
Myself I have a decant of Stella Rose Absolue (between an edp and parfum) and its darker amber base is making me like it much more than regular Stella.

I love it too. One of my summer favorites. The body milk is heavenly.

I really love Stella. I'm on my third bottle. I thought this would be "my signature fragrance" for awhile. I love it at night, especially. It makes me have fascinating dreams. Does anyone here know who is the perfumer for Stella?

It's Jacques Cavallier who also made Kingdom, another extraordinary rose and Jean Paul Gaultier, both have been favourites of mine in the past.
He's really a nez i'd like to talk to, once.
