The Australian actress Cate Blanchett is one of six actors recruited to play Bob Dylan in a film biography of the singer-songwriter, Hollywood press reported. The film, "I'm Not There," will cast the actors as Dylan to show various sides of the composer of "The Times They Are A-Changin'" and "Blowin' in the Wind," who celebrated his 65th birthday Wednesday, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Blanchett will play a young Dylan. Another Australian, Heath Ledger - the Oscar-nominated star of "Brokeback Mountain" - will incarnate an older Dylan. Ledger's girlfriend and fellow "Brokeback" star, Michelle Williams, has also signed up for the movie, as have Christian Bale, Julianne Moore and Richard Gere. The movie is to be directed by Todd Haynes.

Interesting cast. I can absolutely see Cate as the young Dylan, he had a very femme face and curls to die for:

One of the google links, the one showing several headshots in a small thumbnail, shows Richard Gere's photo above Cate's. She could play Richard Gere! Same nose!
