Whenever these types shows come on and I happen to catch it, I am frozen to my chair in a trance-like state watching. I cannot believe the beautiful creations pastry chefs that know how to work with sugar can make! The winner last night made this 'statue' completely out of various sugars called "Ocean"....it had the most amazing dolphins formed from blown sugar, a coral reef, and on top a woman in a red dress stepping into the water. Amazing!

I did not catch this particular show but I like this whole "genre" of cooking shows. I watched the Pillsbury Bake Off last year and I think it's coming again soon this year. I also have watched the wedding cake decorating competition--twice.

Wish I had such mad skills in the kitchen!
