Greetings!

Is there anyone that sells samples of Tabac Blond, En Avion, and Can Can within/or out of the United States other than e-bay? I found that escentuals in the UK sells Tabac Blond, but it is a hefty price for a scent that I am intrigued with by the description, but have never tried.

Someone with a better memory than I will respond with the concrete info, but what many of us have done is get in touch with the Caron boutique directly (phone or email; I've emailed the NYC boutique and I live in CA right now), make a request for samples, pay the (very reasonable) fee and voila! Sent right over.

They will decant the extrait scents for you.

Another one who called NY and got samples. They are large, and because they are perfumes, last a long time. I am still using my samples. The only ones I've gone though are Tabac Blond, En Avion & Nuit de Noel.

I appreciate the info very much! Once a perfume description tantalizes me, I become obsessed that it may be one of the GREAT ones of my life! I keep John Oakes books by my beside, I love to read his imaginative descriptions over and over!

I bought En Avion and Narcisse Noir while at the last Sniffapalooza in New York. Cathy Little at Henri Bendels will also be happy to help you with samples. So you should have no problem getting what you need.

If you ever have a notion to try ebay again try Dragonfly. She mails out small samples and 5ml and 10 ml decants. they are fairly priced and her service is excellent. I have a 10 ml decant of Tabac Blond from her and a very little goes a long way. Tabac Blond is my HG but En Avion and Pois de Senteur are close behind...Tabac Blond is indescribable to wear, Ive never even tried the cologne,
I am totally hooked on the extrait--Dragonfly has pretty neat descriptions on her website of all the Carons!!! Happy hunting. If you go to Ebay stores and type in the search Dragonfly-scent me her store will come up.

I think that the Caron Boutique in NYC is awaiting sample bottles at the moment. Ikkito tried last week and they didn't have any in.

Go to the swap page at Basenotes, and look for BuffaloGal- she sells samples and decants of the Carons (among many other things!) and is marvelous to deal with (I believe she is dragonfly00 on ebay, too, as mentioned above)

The ladies at the NYC boutique are great but seem to run of out of vials frequently (2 out of 3 times that I called) and have to wait weeks for them to arrive sometimes before they can send out samples ... Diane (BuffaloGal) is much easier to order from.

Seriously, I adore Tabac Blond ! Before I recently fell for Carnal Flower - compleeeeetly different - I was wearing TB parfum almost exclusively.
