This one sounds interesting and the story behind it sounds so romantic.

I often find though, that L'Occitane men's scents don't smell as nice as they sound.

I think Ed has recently got this one.

Yes your highness I did buy this Friday and gave it an unofficial wear Saturday finding it pretty nice it was fairly rich, as I was on a different time schedule than during the week and later tried some other things I bought that day I can not really comment on its lasting power.

I had a problem with the lasting power of the 2 L'Occitane's that I used to have. I know one was the 4 Voleurs and the other one was I think, Eau du Badian.

I tested this one a few months ago at one of the local hotels, where they (surprisingly) have a pretty complete L'Occitane shop. I liked it, and thought it would be nice for a gift. I had intended to revisit, but haven't as yet.

Ed, maybe you can check the lasting power next time you wear it?

Cypress trees are great. My neighbor has some very tall ones on her property, which I can see from mine. That legend of the knights is quite wonderful.

Know what you mean about the usual fragrances from L'Occitane, Barry. They usually sound better than they turn out to be in real life.[
