Are those rumors really true that she is a gold digger? Apparently, she has her sights set on suing the papers for those malicious rumors.

She was a "party girl" when she was younger, but as for her being a golddigger now, any "gold" she digs goes to her many charities.

To answer your question -- the courts will decide if those rumors are true. Former friends and acquaintances of Heathers are the real golddiggers, in my opinion, selling their stories to the tabloids. Somehow I doubt they will be donating their ill gotten gains to charity!

What I don't understand, is why Heather CARES, about these lurid stories . . . if they're true, then she's got some skeletons in her closet. So, what? If the tales aren't true . . . she shouldn't bother with them.

I totally agree. That is the price you have to pay once you become a celebrity. All those skeletons that you tried so hard to hide will be knocking on the door to shed some of those delicious scandals. To become a celebrity, don't you have to do something that is so outragous and shameful just to get that foot on the door? Look at Vanessa Williams and Madonna. They had their secrets too.

One reason she cares, regardless of whether or not these stories are true, is that donations to her various charities have dropped as a result. A bit silly, since they really have nothing personal to do with her. Landmines have been around for a lot longer than Heather has!

Well, maybe Heather can donate every cent she gets from her divorce, to charity.
