I saw this and just chuckled. Talk about a captive audience! And never mind the people that take too long in the bathroom to begin with....
And whowouldathunk that this would happen in a not-very-metropolitan area?
I will say that I am NOT going to purchase a piece of this art after the exhibition is over! (Puts me in mind of that Seinfeld episode where George takes a big book of Impressionist art into the bathroom at Barnes and Noble and they make him purchase it--and then he tried to return it and can't, since they've flagged it!)

Personally, I think this is a great idea...but many may not give a crap...

So long as nothing takes the place of those magnifying mirrors, above the urinals . . .

I don't like it - instead, I think they should make the bathroom itself a work of art, with agate wash basins, hammered copper faucets, urinals made of sculptured porcelain resembling coral reefs, burled walnut walls - I would love to see organic and sculptural materials used to create the bathroom. They could hang some Hudson River valley art with frames of carved wood and gilded ghesso if they wanted paintings. The floors could be ceramic tile mimicking limestone.

Too much time sitting on the throne, would be my guess. Many people just read; consequently all the "bathroom" books.
