A classic. Great music in a funny movie with an outstanding cast and some of the most quotable lines I've heard in ages: "A thousand poets dreamed a thousand years and you were born, my love."
Who else but Rex Harrison could have delivered that line?

I've seen both versions . . . the one with Dudley Moore and Nastassja Kinski, is also quite good. Very entertaining.

The newer version with Dudley Moore ( who was really a musician as well as an actor) features also Arman Assante and is HILARIOUS!!
Great fun, great lines, wonderful music and great performances all around. Go watch it, trust me!! One of my favourites.

Preston Sturges is fantastic. I love every single one of his movies.
It's hard to pick a favorite, but it might be The Lady Eve with the peerless Barbara Stanwyck and Henry Fonda, in a comic role, believe it or not. But then there's Sullivan's Travels, the source of the title of the Coen brothers' O Brother, Where Art Thou? All wonderful, all worth seeing.
