Colonia, Armanis and others who have written me lately, thank you for caring. It means a lot that a few of you haven't forgotten me. I haven't forgotten POL even if I haven't been by much lately.

The pressures related to certain post-Katrina issues had limited my time and still do. When it came to online recreation, I had to devote energy to keeping Vincent and Morticia's Speakeasy on EZBoard going. There are several fabulous New Orleanians there and my pal who started it couldn't do the administering chores and handed it to me.

Everybody has trials and tribulations, so I keep my continuing "challenges" in perspective. I look forward to getting on with it in the big ATL, although much of my heart remains in New Orleans, wherein courageous, positive people are working at keeping keep it's SOUL alive. Other places just don't have the European/Caribbean soul of NOLA. I'd go back just to enjoy the lifestyle I enjoyed before, but I have close relatives here and i'm not getting any younger. It's comforting to live in a city near my dear sister and fabulous perfume-loving niece. For all I know , my niece may even post here. More than a year ago I told her what a great board this is.

Regarding our friend Phosphor Essence, I spoke with her 3 weeks ago. She is working on geting better. Her DH seems a sweetheart.

I have found that my comfort frags are the my fave old classics: Chanel#19, Joy, L'Heure Bleue. Sometimes I'm enjoying Chergui. I'm not into trying new frags lately.

I'm going to enjoy reading a few posts here. Tomorrow's another busy day and I still have to deal with NOLA house-related issues. *sad*

Nice to see you again! I haven't been much on POL the last weeks, so it was only yesterday I suddenly noticed, you were not here.

Oh, Morticia, great to see you! I'm so sorry that things continue to be upside down for you. You have the soul of New Orleans inside you, and you will carry that forever. :-)

Mort, I don't know why, but I was laying in bed last night and realized I hadn't seen you post in ages, and decided that I was getting up this morning and posting a "WHERE'S MORTICIA" APB. And here you are!!! Uncanny!

Delighted to see you back with us and well, despite the trials of forced relocation. I hope Atlanta is beginning to feel a bit like home for you.

It must be very difficult Morticia as you never got any closure. All of a sudden things were gone. I doubt you'll ever totally get closure.

Hi Mort, glad things are a bit better for you, what a devasting life event! I kind of had the idea that you might be setting up permanent housekeeping and had a great deal to do almost a year after the hurricane. All good thoughts and wishes to you and your husband, stay strong!
