When I got my hair cut about two weeks ago I purchased a product my stylist used on my hair. It's call Thrill Osis+ Fiber Gum, by Schwarzkopf. It is a fabulous product; the best I've ever used for holding style, keeping curl and frizz at bay, and making my hair look 5x thicker than it actually is.
But - It smells absolutely horrible in my hair. In its little container it smells like resins with a hint of citrus (not awful, really), but in my hair it smells like musky glue and gives my hair a distinctive Wet Dog odor. It wouldn't be too bad if the scent faded, but it doesn't. It lasts as long as the product is in my hair, and it seems to be activated by heat, sweat, hair oils, etc. It definitely interferes with my fragrances and it makes me a little nauseated if I'm out in the sun or something.
But but - this stuff really, really works in my hair. Most products weigh it down, make it greasy, and flatten it, but this stuff keeps the style and the illusion of thickness. Do any of you know if there are other "fiber gum" products on the market that may have a different scent?
