Anyone familiar with this guy's remixes and cds? I had purchased one he did for Saks Fifth Avenue, the department store, aptly called "Saks Fifth Avenue" a few months back. It's very cool, upbeat, sleek, electronica/jazzy/whatever sounds good remixed really.

I had just put in an order for 2 more of his cds that he did for Hotel Costes. Hotel Costes Vol. 3 Etage 3 and Hotel Costes Vol. 2 La Suite. I really like this man's stuff here. He really isn't the person that does the music, he just remixes it, that's all. It's what I would like to hear if I went out clubbing again, if I did here still.

I love the cd covers. Very cool looking with all the stylish chicks on them. Reminds me of Roxy Music's and Bryan Ferry's old stylish album covers.

my hubby is a big fan, we got Vol 5 and 6!! We got a lot of music ala Costes at home.

Yes, I'm a BIG fan. I have every one. The only "bad" one is the Saks issue. There are a few that are really superior, but I can't remember which they are. When I have to do some unpleasant task around my house, I put one on at high volume and am instantly energized. It's probably the musical version of crystal meth!

LOL! Funny, the Saks one is first one I bought here and I liked it, LOL

I hope to enjoy the others I ordered of this series. I ordered 2, 3 and 7 and a best of compilation too.

I love the sound of the pieces remixed. Sooooo Cool!

i've got a copy of his 2003 release living on the edge ,very french allthough rem obsessives might like to listen to the micheal stipe vocal on track 2 clumsy

I got my cd, Best of Hotel Costes and I must say "I LIKE"!

I love the instrumental "Adore" by I:Cube (not IceCube the rapper and actor, OKAY!! LOL). I've heard it before but didn't know the name of it. So cool.

I like it's breeziness, the pieces on this cd.

There's a remix of a Shirley Bassey song on too for "Where Do I Begin?". Love Shirley Bassey here! She's so cool! I just love her remix album from a few years back. Gotta pull that one out again!

I can't wait to get the others I've ordered now.
