Its winter, its cold and I want chocolate! What and / or where is the best chocolate shop in Australia. I think you cannot top Haighs chocolate - love the rose, voilet and marzipan ones- in the Block Arcade in melbourne. I know they are a South Australian company but I live in Melbourne. Love them more than Koko Black and Max Brenner.

The other day I had some dark "Belgian Chillie Chocolate" that was divine. The choc itself was very good and the chillie was a subtle heat that warmed you after you'd finished a square. I'm pretty sure the wrapper is gone with the garbo's but I'll look around. It was made in Victoria. I bought it at a market. I meant to save the wrapper (perhaps I have, lol).

btw, I am SO over Lindt. It is just blah to me now.

Teacake I soooo agree about Lindt. Yuk, I cannot even taste chocolate in it - just this creamy Fat!
