I hope she does a book tour. I'd love to see her do an hour on Oprah and maybe Primetime. Better yet, a book signing. I'd stand in line for that! Can't wait!

Here's a link to how she looks now. Someone more technosavvy may want to post a thumbnail of it.
She was my girl crush growing up because we looked a lot alike. I was mad for George and Eric, too!

Clapton's song, "Leila" was supposed to be about her.

I'd like to read it, too.

Oh, yes...the famous "Layla"...which confirmed what tongues had already been wagging about. I love that song!
I definitely want to read the book. I was just a baby when all that was going on, but I think it's so juicy...
She's still very lovely, imho.

Oh, I just loved Patty Boyd! What a doll . . . she used to wear the 'English' flip, which was longer and much less structured that what we used to see, here in America. I too, would enjoy this book . . .

That was one long article! A book hardly seems necessary after reading all that...

One of life's little mysteries, why this woman was so desired by SO MANY rock stars at the time. (Though she didn't seem to make out very well financially.) What in the world did she possess, to be catnip to those men???

If she could bottle it, her fortune would be made!

She had the look of the day, if that makes sense. She was exactly what you'd want your girlfriend to look like. Straight blonde hair, big blue eyes, etc.

It's because "Something" in the way she moves, attracts them like no other lover, and she always looks "Wonderful, Tonight" ...

Thanks for the link. It was interesting to see a recent pic of her. I have to say though, that I would never have known that was her! She looks like a different person...very pretty, but different!

'nubka, dahling . . . Patty's been thoroughly knifed over: lots of facial surgery . . . other slicing and dicing, as well . . . '

Oh yes she has definitely had work done - I saw a picture of her from about 10 years ago and she looked NOTHING like she does now.

First comes the plastic surgery, then comes the memoir. I know I am going to read it as soon as I can get my hot little hands on it. Imagine one woman inspiring "Something" AND "Layla"!?! "Something" is such a beautiful love song and "Layla" is so raw! "Layla" is like an open wound made into a song; powerful.

I don't blame the girl. She has to look good for her book tour!

Have you seen Yoko lately? She looks amazing. The same as she did 40 years ago. She is now 74, I think. On the other hand, Cynthia looks like a typical, middle-class English frump in flowered frock and sensible shoes. Not that it makes her a bad person, just not the typical rock'n'roll wife. Or ex-wife in this case. Didn't she have her own autobiography out a few years ago, too?

She had those GREAT BIG innocent lookin' eyes...and that pouty mouth, with the slightly protruding front teeth. Men are suckers for that look!

Here's a link to a pic of her in 2003:

Patty Boyd -- 2003

Despite any nips and tucks or slices and dices or chops...I was intrigued with the lines around her eyes...and her smile.

She still looks great at 61 in that photo. I think the other one taken last year shows her from a different angle than we're used to seeing her. Also she might have botox these days but not then. I wonder what the story is with her recent boyfriend. He was quite a bit younger than she was (you go girl!). Maybe she dumped him because he was turning into an old fart.
