First off, I never saw them together anyways and at the very least never expected it to last since Carmen, in my mind, is sleezy trash. I could be wrond however. I thought Dave Navarro is a former member of Jane's Addiction and not red hot chili peppers.

He's gay?? I didn't know that. I heard he's been stepping out with another woman for the past several months before the official annoucement.

I don't think he's gay, I just think his look veers toward androgyny, with the eyeliner and all. But what do I know. He was in the Red Hot Chili Peppers, for about 5 minutes. I always thought he was interesting.

I actually think it's too bad, I kinda liked them together.

Yikes!!! Another celebrity breakup? I personally lost interest in Carmen Electra when she married Dennis Rodman. I like Dave Navarro, however, and feel bad for him. He seems like a really sweet guy, he really does.

That has never really bothered me. It bothers me that people have to be on the down low. Actually they have the BEST of both worlds, IMHO. Love people for who they are, not who they happen to sleep with.

it doesn 't bother me either of course (Dave gay/bi), I feel bad for them, men on the down low are men who easily pass for strictly masculine heterosexual but commit homosexual acts every now and then.
openly gay males in society are males people can usually tell they re gay; my best friend is a gay man and you wouldn 't know, he tells me all the guys he messes with would never take him on a date to a restaurant lol they re married men (at his gym you d never believe how many married guys get a blow job by a guy!), construction workers, law enforcements...not the kind of social and professional environments you can be openly gay, it 's actually impossible. I don 't think they enjoy the best of both worlds, they have to be on the down low and they re conflicted consequently...Oh! by the way I m the best of both worlds LOL!

So much for the theory that separate bathrooms are the secret to a happy marriage.

I almost posted this before even reading Uella's comments. My sense is that he is a little too gay to make that work as well. BTW, he was in both bands. Jane's Addiction for many years and just a brief stint and one album with the Peppers. Good guitarist and clever guy, but a little too fruity to get my loins flaming...haha

Me, I'm for his androgynous look - I'm a huge Bowie fan as well...if you pass, I'll take him, Sharil! ;-)
